It seems NBS proprietor Kin Kariisa’s last straw to break the Camel’s back. On top of the already converted, Senior Political and social investigative reporter Julius Ssekandwa is leaving NTV for the Kamwokya premised Newsroom as scores pack their bags to depart the Serena based NTV in December, the Investigator confidently reveal.
We can comfortably report that by December the cream-Della-cream at the Agha Khan owned Nation Media Group TV may be in a skeleton shape. The Investigator has established that after a dozen other senior staff left for new kid on the block, a couple of months ago, making us think the hunt for the top journalists was over, we collect that more senior staff are leaving.
Information at our disposal reveals that next to move is senior crime/social and political investigative reporter, Julius Ssenkandwa who has already penned his signature on the contract, and a copy of who’s appointment letter we have obtained is joining Media House facility on December 1st 2016.
Whereas the departure of veteran newscaster Faridah Nakazibwe was successfully blocked following a hefty payrise, others who are set to leave soon are: Ernest Wisdom Kiyonga, Abubaker Ziraba Muzaale, Daren Kayne, the morning sports anchor as well as Jingo Francis. One of the reporters on the exiting list told us in confidence thus; “we have all reached an agreeable position and are set to move.”
