Afrigo Band, Mariam Ndagire and Halima Namakula Confirmed for ‘Tugende Mu Kikade’ A Musical Show

Sprout Africa ( SA) the organizers of the forth coming ‘Tugende Mu Kikade’ show have been given a boost after confirming the attendance of singers Mariam Ndagire,Halima Namakula and the whole of Afrigo, Uganda’s oldest band.

According to an insider pry in the environs of the team, the two artistes and band, penned deals to perform at the event a few days ago and that they are already itching to be part of the history that will be made on the night.

The event that is slated to take place on 6th May 2017 at the Kampala Serena Hotel, is a must attend function for people who have a penchant for grand old music.

Apart from the artistes mentioned above, others in offing include; Kabuye Sembogga, Summy Kasule and Frank Mbalire  who will do what they do best on the night thus adding glitz, glamor and valor  to a certainly looked forward to best moment to cherish.   

‘Tugende mu Kikadde’, loosely translated as lets go back to the roots, of course roots of local music, is certainly a show that you don’t have to miss.

The show reminisces the golden vintage days when people had puffed hair and listened to local songs like Entebbe Wala, Kangume, Doctor, Ekimbewo, Jim wange, Twalyako bye twalya and many more.
