Kampala-Uganda: Two employees of Bugolobi based Silk Liquid have been implicated and detained over the leakage of a CCTV footage, The Investigator reports.

Charles Mujjabi who has worked with the company for over 15years pleaded guilty before Her Worship Nantege Christine at Nakawa magistrate court whereas Simon Kazooba who worked in the IT department denied the charges. Mujjabi has been sentenced to three month imprisonment.

The footage that has been making rounds on social media is of a top media house CEO having a meeting with troubled Sudhir Ruparelia’s lawyer.

The video that attracted both offline and online debate had NTV news anchor Sheila Nduhukire on her Tweeter handle questioning how it happened, and satirically highlighted how it might cost Liquid Silk present and future customers.

A reliable source at Jinja road police station intimated to this writer that there are Silk liquid employees being held at the station for stealing and leaking information. The duo confessed to the act though by press time they had refused to disclose the amount that changed hands.

Police at Jinja road handled the case and registered it under cyber harassment onto file no. SD/103/17/07/2017.
