The country is in trouble of forking out billions of cash to the former boss at the national airliner, Zambian expatriate, Cornwell Muleya. This was after the court in Kampala tossed out the charges which the country’s IGG had brought up against Muleya, as trash.
The judgment goes to beef up the Zambian UGX3Bn lawsuit in which he states that his sack as the CEO was not only unnecessary and malicious, but also that the same was illegal and unlawful. We, at the Investigator have written about how the rather august IGG office is being used to dubiously implicate a category of innocent rather people in order to get them out of the way and in order for others to take their jobs or to settle political scores.
When rogue elements wanted to get rid of Sylvia Muweebwa Ntambi out of her CEO job at the government’s Equal Opportunities Commission Agency, they fabricated charges of corruption against her and the IGG connivingly charged and arraigned her. Muweebwa had rejected to be used by some Asian businessman to let the government agency she was heading, to rent his building at terms that were both exorbitant and extortionate.
Muweebwa reasoned that the rent sums which the Asian was demanding was enough itself to purchase land and build a permanent home for the government agency. What she was stating perfectly fits into the government’s policy of cutting huge rental costs by building permanent offices for its agencies. But for upholding such a well-advised government policy, Muweebwa ended up dubiously framed as a corrupt person instead.
The IGG was then used to charge and prosecute the innocent woman for no justifiable cause at all but at the whims of the Asian businessman whose dubious and evidently clear motive was merely to revenge against Muweebwa, for rejecting to rent space at one of his buildings at exorbitant and extortionate sums of cash and by extension, to save government from being scammed.
After being got rid of as the CEO at her former job and courtesy of the malicious prosecution, the IGG would later, revealingly drop the charges against Muweebwa without adducing any iota of evidence to incriminate her at all into the corruption charges. Yet that was what the IGG was supposed to do ideally since the corruption claims they themselves had just been merely manufactured to revenge against Muweebwa for rejecting to be used by those out to con the government out of huge public funds.
The charges were merely a fabrication seeing that Muweebwa has since been appointed by the government as one of the board members at Uganda Electricity Transmission Company Limited. Yet every other media house there is in Uganda had been used by her evil tormentors to crucify her as a corrupt guru whereas not. Thank God, we, at the Investigator are so discerning that we cannot be easily fooled into engaging in such kind of tomfoolery.
True to our deep sense of discernment, we have written thrice previously, dismissing as meaningless, the charges which the IGG has been unwisely pursuing against the former Zambian expatriate Uganda Airline’s CEO, Cornwell Muleya. Such was the contempt with which we have been treating these charges that we absolutely refused to render them any jot of credibility, by wasting our precious time and resources to cover the bogus trial of Muleya itself.
While the IGG was there posturing and wasting public resources prosecuting the bogus charges, we have been credibly writing to help to open the eyes of the public to the mockery of justice that has been transpiring in the Temple of justice. What is true is that Muleya was merely gotten rid of in order to create an artificial vacuum at the helm of the Uganda Airliner.
A woman referred to as Jennifer Bamuturaki has since been dubiously gifted with Muleya’s job. God works in mysterious ways. The supposed new CEO has since been completely unmasked for what she truly is. She had neither applied for the job nor does she possess the requisite academic credentials for it – or, so, public heard. She was merely assisted to secure the job by her powerful admirers.
A recruitment exercise had been set in motion and paid for by the line ministry of works and transport, when Bamuturaki was smuggled into the CEO job through the backdoor. The IGG had earlier on connivingly charged Muleya with dubious charges of ignoring to appear before her to write a statement over some spurious charges of purportedly mismanaging resources at the national Airliner.
As it turns out now and as we had duly shared, the same charges have been merely a fabrication to create an artificial vacancy at the Uganda Airlines which Bamuturaki has since been smuggled into. A magistrate in town, Asuman Muhumuza has vindicated us by holding that the manner in which the IGG summoned Muleya was absolutely dubious. Other than dropping the summons at his known addresses, the IGG merely sent an email through Muleya’s junk box.
Muleya would later stumble on the casual message by the IGG and instructed his lawyers of Muwema and Company advocates to courteously write back and inform the IGG that he was indisposed and out of the country for treatment. The IGG had written demanding also for Muleya’s passport. This was suspect and clearly in bad faith since the IGG evidently knew Muleya was scheduled to travel out of the country for treatment and, so, by asking for the passport, her intention was to deny him the right to treatment.
The magistrate in his judgment loudly questions the IGG’s integrity and motive of charging Muleya. He loudly wonders why the IGG wasn’t unable to find the explanation by Muleya’s lawyers plausible since it was making his absence evidently excusable and instead rushed to declare that he had rejected her summons.
The magistrate also wonders for what the IGG stopped at questioning Muleya’s absence on the day she had summoned him and avoided looking at his passport to establish whether or not he had indeed travelled outside the country for treatment as his lawyers had duly communicated to her by the time, she had summoned him.
That the IGG avoided to ask for Muleya’s medical notes to prove or not, that he was really sick and out of the country for treatment, left the magistrate shaking his hood regarding the integrity of the IGG’s office. Well, the intention of the IGG is loud and clear. Muleya happened to be standing in the way of ushering in someone into his office. And so, the fake charges by the IGG were, accordingly, found to be expedient to use to get him out of the way.
But where does that leave the IGG’s integrity, taking into consideration the fact that the court itself has gone on record to hold that the charges she has been pursuing against Muleya had been themselves fake? The IGG’s answer is as good as ours. When we return, we shall share living examples of how the IGG has progressively converted herself into a tool of repression. Please hold onto here for the details.
