KAMPALA, Uganda: Family and Nakulabye Police in Kampala are entangled in search of a 23yr old Fitness Coach. Andrew was also a part-time bartender in Kawanda. He went missing in April last year. William Andrew Ssenveewo is said to have left home in Nakulabye, and never returned.
“He always communicated whenever he would travel for long but this time, he just left without any notice” cries his sister Pricilla. She said they tried calling his phone numbers which went unanswered for a while before they were completely switched.
After school, many of his friends argued him to specialize as a Fitness trainer, basing on his fine touch in his work-outs. He indeed bought the idea and excelled. However, it did not take long when a couple of his trainees started pointing fingers at him, accusing him of being a homosexual. “Some even threatened to finish him if police couldn’t reprimand him and lock him out of the public.
“Some time back after the accusations over piled on him, he told me he would go somewhere for about two months and indeed he went and returned. No sooner had he settled in than his tormentors started allover again and he became so depressed. We think it’s the reason for his disappearence and our worry is he could have been kidnapped and or even killed by his accusers,” cried Pricilla.
After a long unsuccessful search, the family resorted to report the matter to police but with little or no success at all. Up to now, police and family are seeking for any help from the public which actually is reluctant on the matter since homosexuality is a taboo in the land.
Nevertheless, anyone with any lead is requested and advised to report to the nearest police station and or inform family via a call or Whatapp on +256 782 398 729. Kindly share this story for better results.
